Oh I'm happy dancing!

Today we had some great news about Cameron's school place for September this year.  It is a world away from how I felt this time 2 years ago when we got the news of Charlotte's offer here.

Cameron has a place at the same school as Charlotte.  He will be going to school with some of the children he's made friends with at Nursery.  A few of them are going to other schools in the area, but his closest friends are going to be in the Reception class with him.  Yay!

Well I say yay!  Scott could still mess it all up with his talks of this potential move to Surrey or Kent as he's now suggesting - erm just as expensive and even further away from home!  I meanwhile am looking at Rightmove for houses for sale that are within walking distance of the kid's CURRENT school.  Hmmm talk about not being on the same page as each other.  Not sure how this one is going to play out or who will be victorious in the end, but as it stands, we have school places for our 2 monsters here and nothing in Surrey (although a letter about a school place in Surrey for Cam should be arriving soon).

Ho hum!

Anyway, today is 1st April - April Fools and of course nobody managed to trick me at all.  No I didn't fall for any jokes.  Oh and if that Miss Jen tells you otherwise, she's fibbing :P ha ha ha

Today the kids and I went to Ikea where we met up with Jen, James, Josh and Sam, Helen, Evie and Oliver and Lou, Harry, Drew and Freya for lunch!  We had a great afternoon, didn't spend a fortune, although I always see lots that I like when I'm there, I think I'll remember that and will show Scott so he can donate his credit card to me and then I forget what I've seen.  MUST remember to write things down!

Right, I'm off to wrestle the karaoke machine away from Cameron, it isn't that his singing is bad, I just can't stand to hear the same songs over and over again!
